Common Acne

Typically caused by hormonal fluctuations during puberty or adolescence. It often improves over time as hormones stabilise.

PCOS Acne

Primarily caused by hormonal imbalances associated with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It is more persistent and severe than common acne because hormonal imbalances associated with PCOS remain persistent and ongoing.

How to Treat Acne?

Topical creams can help treat common acne. However, the only way to effectively manage PCOS acne is to address the underlying hormonal imbalances associated with PCOS.
